Free check of your wine back label

What do we check?

Every mandatory particular of articles 119 to 122 of Regulation (EU) No 1308/2013, the allergens, the energy value, the QR code and its e-label page, the character sizes and the national mentions of each country where you sell.

  1. Category of the product and PDO or PGI term.
  2. Alcoholic strength, nominal volume, lot.
  3. Bottler or importer, provenance.
  4. Allergens in the language of each country of sale.
  5. Energy value printed, and the word “ingredients” next to the QR code.
  6. The e-label page itself: content, language, no marketing, no tracking.
  7. Minimum character height and field of vision.
  8. National mentions (France: pregnancy pictogram, sorting information where it applies; Ireland: upcoming health warnings).

What should I send?

A clear photo of the front and back label, or the PDF you sent to your printer, plus the countries where the wine is sold. If you have it, add the analysis of the vintage: alcohol, residual sugar and total acidity. That is enough for a first check.

What happens after I send the form?

A specialist replies by email within 24 business hours with the list of points to correct, country by country, and the text each point comes from. If you want us to fix them, you also receive a quote. There is no automatic follow-up and no obligation.

Why is the check free?

Because it is the best way for you to judge our work before paying anything. Most wineries who send a label find at least one point to improve. If yours has none, we tell you so, and you keep your label as it is.

Questions from winemakers

Is my label checked by a person or by software?

By a person. We use a checklist and tools to prepare the review, but a labelling specialist reads your label and writes the answer.

Do you keep my label files?
